This policy describes what information Tael collects when you use the Tael website and service, why it is collected, and the choices you have about it.
Account information: the name, email address, and profile details your GitHub account shares when you sign in.
Repository contents: the code and configuration of repositories you explicitly connect, read in order to deploy and operate your applications.
Operational data: logs, metrics, and telemetry produced by running your applications, used to keep them healthy and to explain what Tael did and why.
Billing information: handled by our payment processor; Tael does not store card numbers.
To operate the service: deploying your applications, watching them in production, investigating problems, and proposing changes for your approval. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your code or your applications’ data to train machine-learning models.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Tael (such as infrastructure and payment providers), under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services.
Operational data is retained for as long as needed to operate your applications and provide an audit history. When you disconnect a repository or delete your account, associated data is deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion by contacting hello@tael.io. Deleting data your applications depend on is always a decision you make explicitly.
